Welcome to Natura do Mar.
Hi, my name is Sara Girometti, I'm Italian and the founder of the
Natura do Mar brand.
Natura do Mar is the expression of my passion for the ocean, my love for Portugal and my Italian background. We create the design of each product, jewellery and accessories, in our atelier (workshop) in SW Portugal.
Our aim is to produce something unique, elegant and simple, yes refined pieces, with stylish Italian design.
We love the different and exclusive results of creating through the handmade process, that gives a special touch to each piece.
Meet Nick Mattia
My partner Nick Mattia, of British and Italian descent has lived in Portugal's SW Algarve for over 11 years.
A keen surfer and outdoor enthusiasts, he is constantly inspired by the ocean and nature in all its wonderful forms.
Together we create beautiful and unique pieces.
Nick is the creator of our clay pieces, he creates with colour and transforms every article into a miniature work of art. With our design ideas we make every piece with a unique shape and composition.
In our creative process we are making each piece by hand, so every piece is as unique as its wearer. This is really important to us and keeps us deeply bonded to our products.
We hope you enjoy wearing them as much as we enjoy making them.
Most of the jewellery work is done by hand. We create with clay, natural stones and join with stainless steel pieces.
We take care of your jewellery, we create it and make it uniquely for you.
